Hey Guys, Brooks here again… 1962 was a pivotal year for me. I started my career in the mens business industry the same same year the first James Bond Movie, Dr. No, hit the box office. That’s when I was introduced to the man all guys want to be. I was fascinated with all aspects of this character! But the Suits!! Bond had impeccable taste in everything, but Those Suits! They were hand tailored on Savile Row and most importantly was their Classic Styling! If you really had to think about it, and if Q had ever really gotten sick of Bond and kicked him to the curb, he could have walked into any spy job interview and killed it!! All thanks to his suits. Bonds image was developed in a large part on his suit selection – Gold Finger – Three Piece Plaid he wore at the horse farm. From Russia With Love – The Gray Two Piece! Hey Guys… Brooks here again. Gentleman, it’s time to Cowboy Up! I want to offer you all, a word of advice. Suit selection is best accomplished if you do it alone or with your significant other. Leave the extended family at the movies and experience the full attention a qualified clothier will provide you. A high quality suit may be an investment of a weeks earnings or more and you deserve to be the center of attention during the transaction. Wear a white dress shirt and a pair of dark dress trousers as well as dress shoes so the coats you try on don’t compete with other items you are wearing. Ask questions about fit and patterns to make sure the individual aiding you understands why you need the suit. More than anything, Relax, and have some much deserved Fun!

Hey Guys, Brooks here again, Here’s a question I often get; How often should I dry clean my suit? Well, this depends on many factors. A suit coat does not come into contact with your skin in normal circumstances. Your shirt has a tail and there are shorts between the fabric and your skin. Therefore the hazards to a suit are, for the most part, external. Drinks, food stains, and environmental issues may necessitate cleaning at any time but if you hang the suit properly and brush it you can minimize the cleaning process to a large degree. Dry cleaning wears out the material as well as the structure inside the suit. Pressing a suit does not wear it out and that is what you want to be remember.
